The account manager is a results-oriented individual who is a key player that contributes to the overall success of the Company. This person is an assertive, motivated professional who provides customer service and account management to our existing customer base. This person must possess strong consultative, proven customer services abilities and be able to interact with Company executives and other team members.
The account manager will work within sales department and cross-functionally to support business initiatives, customer service and tech support.
- Form internal relationships within Company to become confident in processes in order to carry out account management duties.
- Develop and maintain close relations with client in order to fulfill client’s needs more effectively.
- Manage all aspects of a client account.
- Maintain CRM system.
- Promote services through trade shows and public relations as necessary.
- Visit potential clients and explain our services as necessary. Some travel required.
- Proposal writing and RFP review.
- Assist with incoming customer service and tech support emails/phone calls.
- New account set-ups/on boarding.
- Demos of product to current/new clients.
- Working with sales manager to confirm account setup/implementation for large clients
- Business review meetings for accounts assigned.
- Product research as assigned.
- Other tasks/special projects as needed.
- Cold calling new account leads
- Assist with online consumer chat
- Minimum of two years account management in automotive aftermarket.
- General automotive knowledge.
- Experience responding to request for proposals and bids.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Computer proficiency.
