Advent Resources is a software company on the waterfront in San Pedro, CA offering complete DMS solutions for the automotive industry developing dealership point-of-sale software systems.
 
The Position
We are seeking for an experienced auto-dealership accounting specialist/trainer responsible for implementing Advent Resources state of the art suite of products. This position requires 80% of extensive travel to our different client locations throughout the US where you will be training dealer staff on Advent’s software products.  We need someone who will provide and deliver work with efficiency.
 
Job Requirements:
  • Knowledge of dealership accounting principles in posting to journals, AR, AP, reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts and schedules audits, financial statement submission and end of month processes (must).
  • Knowledge of Sales, Parts and Service operations a plus.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • The freedom and flexibility to travel (extensive overnight/weekend travel time).
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Facilitate Group Training.
  • Software Installation
  • Software implementation
  • Problem solver 
  • Excellent computer skills /IT computer savvy
  • Exemplary team leadership skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient organizational skills
  • Knowledgeable in Desktop applications (i.e. Excel, Google Docs, Web browsers)
  • Client Satisfaction – Ability to maintain client satisfaction under stressful situations while meeting install deadlines
Experience:
  • Management experience
  • Dealership working knowledge of various departments
