The Professional Systems Support Technician provides high quality support to our professional customers using web browsers, shop management systems and procurement products for placing business to business orders with O'Reilly Auto Parts.  The ideal candidate will have an emphasis on system setup, customer support and the maintenance of online connectivity.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Provide help support functions for all products used to connect professional customers to O'Reilly Auto Parts
  • Register new customers for the First Call online website, Mitchell 1 and numerous shop management system platforms
  • Maintain a call log documenting customer issues, concerns and resolutions
  • Responsible for maintaining inter-company and customer relationships between all software vendors and their products utilized in connecting customers to O'Reilly Auto Parts
  • Diagnose customer issues with operating systems, browsers and firewalls to restore electronic ordering to O'Reilly Auto Parts
  • Assist customers and field team members with registering on Parts Pay Off and First Call Promo

 

 Skills and Qualifications
 

Required:

  • Working knowledge of PC's, operating systems and web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Chrome
  • Excellent communication and public relation skills
  • Prior experience in a customer service or retail sales oriented position
  • Basic networking skills such as drive mapping
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required, but not limited to, Word and Excel
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with customers and team members

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Two years of work experience in counter or inside/outside sales and customer service
  • Previous experience in computer support
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of company software packages
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

This is a full-time opportunity; Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
