The Finance Department Coordinator provides general office and administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Vice President of Finance and Finance Department senior management.  This position is also responsible for special projects, including administrative and investor relations tasks and projects.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Provide phone coverage for the CFO and assist in providing phone coverage for the Corporate Accounting Department, including backup phone coverage for directors and vice presidents
  • Record and reconcile entitlement usage of vacation, sick and personal hours, as well as time entry of hours worked for the Finance Department
  • Planning and execution of business travel scheduling for Finance Department team members
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes and follow up items of Finance Department meetings
  • Assist with general investor relations functions, including communication between the CFO and outside analysts, brokers, banks, printers and various financial institutions
  • Prepare and manipulate spreadsheet, word processing and flowchart documentation by utilizing business administration and accounting skills
  • Provide assistance to the CFO, Vice President of Finance and Finance Department senior management on various projects

 

Skills and Qualifications
 
  • Degree in business administration, a business related area or commensurate experience
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Three years of progressive administrative assistance experience, basic accounting knowledge and strong business administration skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills in spreadsheets, word processing, database applications and data manipulation
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
This is a full-time opportunity; Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
