Do you want to own a business? Do you want to count more than you are? We are looking to train or are already trained to run a heavy duty truck repair shop. Our current GM will do the training and has worked his way up from a floor sweeper to his current position and has held this position for 20 years. Having a working knowledge of how to fix suspensions and steering problems is a BIG plus.  We do a lot of King Pins, Hendrickson suspensions, Mack suspension, Air Brakes and Alignments.  Our biggest customers are garbage and dump truck fleets, then over the road fleets, school buses and municipalities.

Minimum of two year supervisory in the appropriate following area:  Truck Service and Repair, major retailer, or other related business activity, Veterans E6 or higher.

Exhibit good verbal and written communication skills (i.e. give clean instruction to hourly staff to accomplish assigned task; motivate and train them to unleash their talent).

Ability to perform all hourly functions to assist when needed.

Demonstrate proficient customer service skills to provide “Best in Class" service.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver information clearly in responding to questions from co-workers within the company and the customers.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and proactively completed assigned duties.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by managers to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Lift and carry merchandise items weighing up to approximately 100 pounds.

Climb a ladder to reach supplies stored in overhead areas as well as to inspect for cleanliness.

Stand/walk for up to ten hours.

Sit for periods up to four hours.

Must possess and maintain a current and valid driver’s license with appropriate insurance coverage.

Operate computer efficiently; Requires good vision, hand coordination, fine motor skills and manual dexterity.

Third generation family business. We have two divisions, the spring shop and wholesale parts. The Spring shop is our main stay and we do springs, suspensions, alignments and brakes. Our number one priority is to get the customer in and out of the shop in one day! The wholesale parts division started in 2003 and has grown every year and now accounts for 45% of our business. We sell just about any part that a truck or trailer uses.
