Claims Adjuster

Responsibilities:

Adjudicates claims for automotive warranty contracts based on contract coverage. Responsible for answering calls from car dealerships and independent repair facilities to verify the completion and validity of claim forms.  Reviews company records to determine various levels of claim coverage. Calculates the amount of the claim and submits claims for payment.  Documents all information in a database system. Uses reference labor manuals, technical bulletins and system components to adjudicate claims. Must provide extraordinary customer service over the phone to both internal and external customers.

Requirements:

Mechanical and/or automotive claims adjusting experience preferred  Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the automotive claims industry i.e. from powertrain operations to electrical charging systems  ASE Certification preferred, ASE Master Certification a plus  2-4 years experience in the field  Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Access and Outlook  Excellent customer service and telephone skills required  Bilingual a plus - Spanish
