Parts Manager

| Primary
Responsibilities: |
- Develop and implement departmental goals
- Conduct regular meetings with direct reports
- Follow up and expedite critical parts
- Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence
- Establish individual parts inventory levels and balance them for maximum turnover
- Prepare and supervise stock order procedures
- Develop or maintain system for back order control and customer follow up
- Understand and follow parts policies and procedures for returns, parts warranties, etc
- Implement and conduct perpetual inventory
- Participate, prepare and attend annual physical inventory
- Train, motivate, monitor parts employees
- Develop aggressive wholesale parts program

| Required
Experience: |
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- One year supervisory experience
- Five years of automotive parts department experience
- Reynolds & Reynolds
|

Education: |
- High school diploma or equivalent
|
