As a CDJR diesel mechanic Wyoming, family owned dealership diesel technician, or high volume service technician Cheyenne, you’ll diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, and diesel systems using electronic diagnostic equipment in a busy CDJR shop. Candidates with at least 2 years of auto technician experience are preferred, though motivated technicians can also grow through our apprentice program and paid Chrysler training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers are informed of additional service needs and estimated repair times
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Keep customer vehicles clean and maintain a clean, orderly stall

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Ability to learn quickly
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Ability to identify problems quickly
• Math, reading, and computer skills
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
