Mills Automotive Group seeks a Parts Manager to head our parts department. We desire a dynamic, employee-centric manager who excels in delivering results. The role involves close collaboration with upper management and sales associates to meet the business’s needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all team members adhere to their designated schedules, following policies on attendance, punctuality, and reporting.
  • Set departmental goals and objectives, actively working to achieve them.
  • Recruit, train, inspire, guide, and evaluate the performance of all parts department staff.
  • Provide courteous, professional customer service, addressing customer inquiries with accurate information.
  • Oversee stock ordering processes.
  • Ensure incoming inventory is properly stored in its designated location.
  • Maintain an inventory that aligns with the needs of specified areas.
  • Accurately price parts and accessories using the appropriate pricing source, ensuring the computer system remains current.
  • Uphold workplace safety standards.
  • Exhibit behaviors that reflect the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and vendors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Preferred candidates will have prior automotive sales managerial experience.
  • The role demands excellent communication and customer service skills, an understanding of inventory control, and strong computer and phone skills, including proficiency in Internet, MS Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Professionalism, a strong work ethic, a current, valid driver’s license, and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are also necessary.
