Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Class 1–8 trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Perform brake reconditioning, suspension repairs, clutch and transmission work, and electrical repairs
• Conduct state and federal inspections on tractors, trailers, and material handling equipment
• Complete welding repairs and general maintenance on overhead cranes and forklifts
• Provide occasional roadside service support
• Work Monday–Friday on 2nd shift (starting at 4:00 PM) with a 25% shift differential

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of heavy truck or fleet mechanic experience
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills
• General welding experience required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Class 7 State Inspection and Emissions license preferred (we will train the right candidate)
• ASE certifications and refrigeration license a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
