Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage new customer acquisitions and current account retention for accounts with PBE purchases >250K USD, with a focus on regional Multi Shop Operators.
  • Responsible for the management and performance of a team of Outside Sales Reps.
  • Make sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Manage all information needed to prepare proposals and or agreements for targeted accounts.
  • Manage key / national accounts as assigned by VP PBE Division.
  • Develop relationships with a list of PBE acquisition targets. List to be developed with input from ASM, RVP and VP PBE Division.
  • Identify underperforming markets and create / participate/ manage sales improvement plans and activities with ASM.
  • Support the development of ASM’s in your assigned markets with a focus on developing stronger analytical skills related to CIP proforma’s and gross profit management.
  • Help resolve issue between LKQ and vendors in your assigned markets.
  • Maintain relationships with key vendors to establish higher buying levels and to reinforce company commitment to increasing market share, leading to additional support from these vendors.
  • Be familiar with LKQ \ Keystone product literature and can convey product information and availability to customers
  • Manage and support the continual improvement of LKQ/Keystone Automotive Industries’ quality improvement system.
  • Follow all proper use of Health, Safety and Equipment practices outline by LKQ.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Highschool Graduate. Some college coursework desired.
  • Minimum five years’ experience with sales, management and PBE Knowledge is ideal.
  • Must be able to manage and work in cooperation with others. Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others. Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules. Must be familiar with the company’s products; must have knowledge of pain, chemical aspects and refinishing.
  • This position requires individuals to have the ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and be attentive to detail.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanic parts, as well as to an office environment. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels, and occasional inclement driving conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in some work environments is moderately loud.
