Auto Body Office & Insurance Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Process and manage insurance claims for collision repairs
- Communicate with insurance companies, adjusters, and customers
- Verify claim details, documentation, and coordinate inspections
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, approvals, and claim activity
- Track and document all communication related to claims
- Schedule appointments and manage shop calendars
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Greet customers and assist with general questions
- Support internal communication between front office and production
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and general office duties
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an auto body shop or automotive environment
- Strong understanding of insurance claims and repair processes
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Clear communication—both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using computer systems for record keeping and data entry
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar systems is a plus
- Ability to manage a high-volume workflow in a fast-paced environment
