About the Role: Regional IT Manager

As the Regional IT Manager for Mills Auto Group, you’ll be the backbone of our technology operations across more than 30 dealerships in the region, ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient IT systems that empower our teams to deliver exceptional service. Based in Pinehurst, NC, you’ll provide both remote and on-site IT support, adapting to the evolving needs of our growing dealership network. The role requires flexibility, with occasional overnight travel (less than 25%) and on-call availability approximately once every three weeks.

You’ll oversee the technology infrastructure, ensuring robust performance, data security, and operational efficiency. This is a leadership role for someone with a strong technical foundation, a knack for problem-solving, and a vision for leveraging technology to drive business success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead IT operations across multiple dealerships, ensuring systems run smoothly and reliably.
  • Partner with dealership leaders to identify and implement tech solutions that boost efficiency and customer experience.
  • Enforce IT policies and best practices to maintain data security and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software, keeping systems current and effective.
  • Proactively monitor and enhance network security to safeguard sensitive customer and business data.
  • Swiftly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, recommending innovative technologies that align with Mills Auto Group’s goals.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Certifications: CISSP, CCNA with CLI experience (required), A+ PC certification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Automotive dealership IT experience and telephony expertise (hosted and PBX systems). Military IT experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and a passion for using technology to enhance business outcomes.
  • Mindset: Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
