Automotive Technician – Sewell BMW, Midland, Texas

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to deliver top-tier service.
• Work closely with service team members to share repair updates and insights.
• Estimate labor times accurately for efficient service planning.
• Regularly update service advisors on repair progress.
• Follow dealership standards for vehicle care and operational protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate repair documentation for clients.
• Guide and mentor technician trainees to support team development.
• Engage in ongoing company and manufacturer training to stay current with industry advancements.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally over 100 pounds.
• Manufacturer certifications and experience in dealership or automotive repair preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• State Inspection license is an advantage.
• Successful completion of drug and background screenings required.
• Must provide all necessary government I-9 documentation.
