Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and manufacturer standards.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic long-term financial plans.
  • Oversee cash management systems, optimizing cash flow through accurate forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including monthly close processes, to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement robust internal controls to protect assets and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, as well as manufacturer-specific financial guidelines.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making across sales, service, and parts departments.
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
  • Partner with sales, service, and parts teams to provide financial guidance and drive operational success.
  • Generate detailed financial reports for management, owners, and stakeholders to support strategic goals.
  • Leverage advanced technology, including Reynolds software, to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in automotive dealership accounting or financial management, with a focus on combined office environments.
  • Expertise in GAAP and automotive industry accounting principles.
  • Proven financial analysis skills, with the ability to identify trends and provide strategic insights.
  • Strong leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing accounting teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sharp problem-solving abilities to address financial and operational challenges.
  • Proficiency in Reynolds software (preferred) and advanced Excel skills (required).
  • Familiarity with Ford, Toyota, CDJR, and Kia dealership operations is a plus.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel within multiple dealership locations (no overnight stays required).
  • Flexible availability to meet business needs, including occasional weekends or evenings.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
