Lynx Emissions, a rapidly expanding leader in diesel emissions solutions, is seeking a dynamic Field Sales Representative to join our team in the Detroit metro area. We specialize in cleaning and restoring diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and supplying critical parts to keep commercial fleets and diesel repair shops compliant and operational across North America. This isn’t a desk job—our sales team is hands-on, hitting the road to connect directly with shop owners and fleet managers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily in-person visits (cold and warm) to diesel repair shops, fleets, and commercial clients to promote Lynx Emissions’ DPF cleaning services and parts.
  • Build and expand a loyal customer base within your assigned Detroit metro territory.
  • Assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions, matching services or products to their operational requirements.
  • Log sales activities and follow-ups accurately using CRM tools to maintain organized client records.
  • Act on leads provided by Inside Sales and promptly address inbound customer inquiries.
  • Participate in regional sales meetings, training programs, and occasional trade shows to enhance skills and represent Lynx Emissions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in face-to-face B2B sales, ideally in field-based roles.
  • Proven success selling to trade, industrial, or automotive sectors.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to close deals and build trust.
  • Self-driven with the ability to independently plan daily routes and manage sales activities.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or similar).
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Flexible availability to meet client schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends for trade shows.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in diesel service, aftermarket parts, or industrial equipment sales.
  • Knowledge of diesel engine systems, DPFs, or emission-related components.
