As a Mechanic you will:

  • Fill vehicles with fuel, top off fluids, and change oil and filters.
  • Wash, detail, and ready vehicles for customers; keep work area organized.
  • Move vehicles, help customers, aid with bulk fuel deliveries, and swap out van seats.
  • Check for and document vehicle damage; conduct safety assessments.
  • Grease chassis and components; monitor and adjust fluid levels.
  • Swap out belts, hoses, fuses, bulbs, brake pads, shoes, and spring kits.
  • Mount, fix, rotate, and balance tires.
  • Examine and repair exhaust systems and power equipment parts.
  • Diagnose and fix basic electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Document maintenance and repair work accurately.
  • Overhaul hydraulic systems and machine rotors and drums.
  • Troubleshoot and repair anti-lock brakes, suspensions, and powertrain systems.
  • Maintain and repair HVAC and emission control systems.
  • Conduct complete vehicle tune-ups, replacing injectors and fuel filters.
  • Handle field service calls and provide on-site vehicle support.

What you bring to the position (minimum qualifications):

  • High school diploma or comparable experience.
  • Over 2 years of experience in vehicle undercarriage service and repair.
  • Skilled in automotive lubrication, cooling, suspension, and basic system maintenance.
  • Familiar with computer-based and in-vehicle diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of vehicle undercarriage mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Capable of using diverse tools and operating heavy machinery.
  • Committed to following safety protocols to prevent accidents.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Able to comprehend and apply service manual instructions.
  • Must hold current ASE certifications or equivalent from another program.

A background check for criminal history, a pre-employment physical, and a review of driving records will be performed.
