The Sales Associate at Madera Chevrolet/Madera Toyota will focus on fostering strong customer relationships to meet and exceed sales goals. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers warmly and professionally, delivering prompt, accurate details on vehicles, pricing, and promotions.
  • Perform in-depth needs assessments to identify customer preferences and tailor vehicle recommendations accordingly.
  • Highlight the advantages and features of Chevrolet and Toyota models, clearly explaining performance, safety, and technical specifications.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, swiftly addressing product-related inquiries or concerns with efficiency.
  • Facilitate test drives to ensure customers feel confident and satisfied with their potential vehicle selections.
  • Negotiate pricing and financing terms transparently, adhering strictly to dealership policies and guidelines.
  • Partner with the Sales Manager to devise and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or surpass monthly sales goals.
  • Apply effective sales techniques to address objections and successfully close deals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Chevrolet and Toyota products, including new models, features, and competitive edges.
  • Complete all sales-related paperwork with precision and efficiency, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Follow up with customers after purchase to confirm satisfaction and foster referral opportunities.
  • Engage in sales meetings, training sessions, and workshops to refine selling techniques and deepen product expertise.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to keep the showroom and lot clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Uphold the highest standards of dealership ethics and integrity, complying with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Established track record in sales, with automotive industry experience preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities to drive successful sales outcomes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and operational processes.
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve or surpass sales goals.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with an impeccable driving record.

Working Conditions:

The Sales Associate will operate within a dynamic dealership setting, engaging regularly with customers and collaborating with the sales team. The position involves extended periods of standing, walking, and occasionally lifting sales materials. To meet customer demands, availability for some evening and weekend shifts may be necessary.
