Position Summary

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Stay well-informed on products, services, and inventory to provide accurate and confident customer guidance.
  • Keep abreast of all promotional campaigns and advertising initiatives to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Leverage marketing tools and professional networking to expand and nurture a loyal customer base.
  • Assess customer preferences through the Customer Needs Analysis Process to recommend tailored vehicle solutions.
  • Showcase vehicles effectively, following the Vehicle Selection Presentation and Demonstration Process to highlight features and benefits.
  • Secure customer commitment for vehicle purchases or leases using the Customer Agreement Process.
  • Foster repeat business and referrals by utilizing the Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Execute vehicle deliveries in accordance with the established Vehicle Delivery Process for a seamless customer experience.
  • Introduce customers to the Dealership Service and Parts Department, educating them to encourage return visits for maintenance needs.
  • Clearly explain vehicle equity, market values, and trade-in options to build trust and transparency with customers.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing vehicle sales and leases.
  • Actively participate in all sales meetings to stay aligned with team goals and strategies.
  • Complete all required manufacturer training programs to maintain expertise and compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations and customer service goals.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient in basic computer skills to effectively manage and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Exceptional sales, communication, and customer service abilities to build trust and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Capable of thriving independently while collaborating seamlessly within a team environment.
  • Skilled at resolving complaints and navigating challenging situations with composure and professionalism under pressure.

Relevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:

  • Required to meet dealership employment standards, including successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an insurable driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Available to work Saturdays to accommodate dealership hours and customer needs.
  • Demonstrates punctuality and reliability in all professional responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of sitting, standing, or walking for prolonged periods to meet the demands of a dynamic dealership environment.
  • Maintains a polished and professional appearance reflective of the dealership’s high standards.
