Route 128 Honda is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Service Advisor to join our team in Reading, Massachusetts. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maximizing sales opportunities in the auto industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, sales, and knowledge of the automotive industry.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive commission structure. The compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $165,000 per year, paid weekly. In addition, the successful candidate will have access to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) options.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assess their service needs by listening actively and asking relevant questions
  • Recommend and sell services based on customer needs, manufacturer recommendations, and safety concerns
  • Oversee the entire process of servicing customer vehicles, from scheduling appointments, to ordering parts, to collecting payment and explaining work completed
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service and resolving any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize dealership software and systems to accurately track service appointments, sales, and customer information
  • Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming vehicles, service specials, and manufacturer promotions to effectively upsell and cross-sell services and products
  • Continuously build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior service advisors to improve their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service, sales, or the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales goals
  • Proficiency in dealership software and computer systems
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
