Responsibilities
- Meet with customers to assess their vehicle repair and service needs.
- Enhance customer satisfaction through relationship building.
- Uphold the company’s ethical standards, professional demeanor, tidiness, customer service, and positive employee and community relations.
- Track each vehicle’s progress throughout the day and regularly update customers.
- Boost profitability by increasing sales and implementing retail promotions.
- Supervise technicians servicing customers’ vehicles, managing their time, ordering parts, and ensuring timely job completion.
- Engage in and supervise quality control measures.
- Contribute to the creation and documentation of standard operating procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- The ability to focus and complete tasks despite interruptions, along with multitasking skills.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a valid commercial driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Accredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction, and quality control is necessary.
- Experience as an automotive service advisor and proficiency in the use of computers and business machines are also essential.
