Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, retain, coach, and develop Service Advisors and Technicians
• Establish clear expectations and accountability
• Develop future leaders within the department
• Own service-department KPIs including customer-pay ELR, hours per RO, customer-pay labor sales, technician productivity and efficiency, gross profit, net-to-gross, MPI execution and sales, warranty and internal performance, customer retention, and CSI
• Build consistent service-drive processes for write-up, MPI, inspection, presentation, scheduling, and dispatching
• Reduce WIP and production bottlenecks
• Improve communication between Service, Parts, and Technicians
• Identify missed opportunities and create systems to capture them
• Lead a customer experience built on trust, communication, transparency, and professionalism

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven track record of improving service-department performance
• Understanding of profitable Fixed Operations economics
• Ability to coach Advisors and Technicians
• Comfort managing by KPIs and accountability
• Strong recruiting and team-building skills
• Understanding of customer experience and retention
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to make decisions and hold people accountable
• Energy, urgency, professionalism, and a builder’s mindset
• Experienced Service Manager preferred; strong Assistant Service Manager, Service Lane Manager, or senior Fixed Operations leader ready for the next step may also be considered
