Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, reliable Automotive Technician who is career minded and growth motivated, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will use advanced diagnostic equipment and your mechanical expertise to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, inspections, and fluid checks.
  • Repair and replace worn or damaged parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.
  • Follow repair procedures and guidelines, including manufacturer and warranty specifications.
  • Communicate with service advisors/customer advocate to keep customers informed of vehicle issues and repair plans.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Complete detailed and accurate notes on all work performed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High personal level of integrity and desire to perform excellent service on every vehicle
  • Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
  • ASE certification is preferred, with experience in areas such as engine repair, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems being highly desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and common automotive tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-work oriented mindset.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • A complete collection of basic and specialty tools

Work Environment

  • The position is in a well-lit, clean and ventilated repair shop with AC and heating.
  • Work is full-time, with no evening and weekend hours required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • We offer a competitive Commission-based pay structure on top of hourly base pay.
  • wage based on experience, certification, and skill level.
