Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and multi-point inspections
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Replace brakes, batteries, belts, hoses, and other essential components
- Handle minor auto body repairs such as patching small dents and scratches
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Clearly explain services performed and recommend additional maintenance when needed
- Stay current with automotive technology, industry trends, and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (automotive technical training preferred)
- Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience is a plus
- Solid knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostic equipment, and hand/power tools
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- ASE certification is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (tires, parts), stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces
