Key Responsibilities:

• Completely disassemble automatic transmissions and inspect internal components such as clutches, seals, torque converters, valves, and gears
• Measure and evaluate component wear and identify parts that require replacement
• Adjust and calibrate rebuilt transmissions to meet factory specifications
• Repair internal components, including valve bodies, solenoids, and clutches
• Machine and adjust internal parts, when necessary, rather than only replacing them
• Use measurement and diagnostic tools including calipers, torque wrenches, hydraulic presses, and automotive scanning software
• Perform bench testing or in-vehicle testing to verify transmission performance before installation
• Work from technical diagrams and service manuals from different manufacturers
• Organize and document the rebuilding process

What We’re Looking For:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in disassembly, inspection, and assembly of automatic transmissions
• Experience diagnosing internal automatic transmission failures
• Strong attention to detail and precision in transmission rebuilding
• Analytical skills to diagnose internal transmission failures
• Ability to work effectively with the technical team
• Strong communication skills
