Route 128 Honda is looking for a driven and motivated Automotive Sales Associate to join our team in Reading, Massachusetts. The Sales Associate will be responsible for promoting and selling new and used vehicles to our valued customers. This individual will primarily work with walk-in customers, but may also handle some phone and internet leads. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commission, providing the potential for high earning potential in the auto industry.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary of $75,000 to $200,000 per year, depending on experience and performance

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Understand and effectively communicate vehicle features, options, and benefits to potential buyers
• Conduct test drives and accompany customers on vehicle tours
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and positive referrals
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and goals
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, pricing, and inventory
• Handle negotiating and closing deals with customers
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records
• Collaborate with other departments, such as financing and service, to provide a seamless customer experience

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Previous sales experience in the automotive industry is required
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and goals
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Familiarity with CRM software is a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional evenings
