Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues on heavy trucks and construction equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, overhauls, and complex repairs
• Conduct road tests to verify functionality of repaired vehicles and equipment
• Use oxy-acetylene and electrical welding for fabrication and repairs
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely
• Provide emergency road service as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 7 years of experience in repair and maintenance of gasoline and diesel equipment (or equivalent combination)
• Current ASE certifications: Master ASE Heavy Truck, ASE 609 (A/C), ASE L-2 Electronic Diesel Engine, Cummins QSF2.8, ISM/ISX, ISL9 CM2350, and Allison Transmission
• Valid Class A Florida Commercial Driver’s License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

Physical Requirements:

• Heavy physical demand: ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and crawl

Additional Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the assembly, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of heavy and special gasoline and diesel driven equipment, e.g., construction, light and heavy trucks, mechanical equipment.
• Physical demand requirements are in excess of medium work. Physical agility is required in climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching and crawling. Physical Demand: Heavy
