Performance:

  • Conduct thorough diagnostics and inspections based on repair order notes to address customer concerns accurately.
  • Engage with customers and team leads through inspections, test drives, and discussions to pinpoint mechanical issues effectively.
  • Execute all required repairs and tasks specified on repair orders with precision, efficiency, and adherence to dealership standards.
  • Partner with service and parts teams to deliver expert advice and exceptional service for customers and dealership vehicles.
  • Proactively collaborate with shop teammates and manufacturers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during repairs.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all services performed for transparency and compliance.
  • Stay current with advanced mechanical techniques and technologies through continuous training and professional development.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to both dealership guests and internal team members, fostering trust and satisfaction.
  • Ensure a clean, organized workspace, properly maintaining and storing tools and equipment to uphold safety and efficiency.

Experience Required:

  • Pursue and achieve ASE Certification within four years or as determined by management discretion.
  • High school diploma, GED, vocational training, or relevant job-related coursework required.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude to drive shop success.
  • Must provide a personal set of professional-grade repair tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision in all tasks.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines independently.
  • Skilled at interpreting installation instructions, diagrams, and schematics for accurate and precise repairs.
  • Strong technical aptitude paired with a keen enthusiasm for continuous learning.
  • Effective communication skills and professional demeanor, capable of providing clear guidance to customers when needed.
  • Brings a positive sense of humor, self-motivation, and a commitment to learning and succeeding within a team.
