Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Culture

  • Lead all dealership operations including Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance.
  • Create a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and customer-first values.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor managers and staff to achieve operational excellence.

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Full P&L responsibility with accountability for sales volume, fixed operations, and net profitability.
  • Review financial statements, departmental forecasts, and performance reports to align with strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with Kia manufacturer standards and dealership policies.
  • Oversee and ensure effective utilization of Automate DMS for reporting, forecasting, and operational efficiency.

Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand market share and enhance brand reputation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee retention.
  • Innovate processes that strengthen the customer journey and dealership profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Matthews Automotive leadership team to align local strategies with organizational vision.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive dealership leadership experience, with at least 3 years at the GM or GSM level.
  • Proven record of exceeding sales, service, and profitability targets.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze dealership statements and KPIs.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with Automate DMS strongly preferred.
  • Kia or other import brand experience highly desirable.
