Auto Body Technician, Corvallis, OR
Auto Body Technician Jobs Oregon | Wilson Motors (Corvallis, OR)
Wilson Motors
425 NW Buchanan Ave
Corvallis, OR 97330
Wilson Motors in Corvallis, OR is hiring an Auto Body Technician with a thorough understanding of collision repair, restoring vehicles with light to heavy damage. This Auto Body Technician job is one of the more established auto body technician jobs in Corvallis, Oregon, and it suits a professional who takes pride in returning vehicles to pre-loss condition. Duties include assessing exterior damage, following manufacturer repair guidelines, confirming the necessary parts are on hand, reshaping panels with minor damage, and applying welding and refinishing techniques as needed. Work is performed to OE standards, including the ADAS calibration and scanning requirements that apply after structural, glass, or bumper work. On heavier hits, the technician records frame measurements and unibody parts checks to confirm the structure is back within factory tolerance and knows when each repair calls for welded panels and bolt on parts, since each requires its own procedure, joining method, and corrosion protection.
In real hiring situations, shops like ours look for candidates with hands-on experience in structural repair, welding, and panel work, along with the ability to work from an estimate, document each step, and keep a repair moving on schedule. I-CAR training or manufacturer certifications are a strong advantage, though a technician with solid fundamentals and a willingness to keep learning is often a good fit. For those searching for collision repair jobs in Oregon or auto body shop jobs near Corvallis, this position offers a stable role in the heart of the Willamette Valley. The opening is part of the broader market of Pacific Northwest automotive jobs across the United States and can be found alongside other openings on an automotive only job board, where dealership and collision roles are listed for candidates building a career in the industry.
