Rideshare Mechanic LLC is seeking an ASE-certified Remote Vehicle Inspector in North Carolina for remote vehicle inspector jobs North Carolina and ASE certified remote mechanic NC.

Founded in 2017, we enhance the onboarding experience for rideshare drivers by offering convenient vehicle inspections conducted over live video chat (Zoom). This is a rideshare-specific 19-point inspection, not a North Carolina annual state inspection. Training will be provided. As a virtual vehicle inspection Zoom jobs or live video chat auto mechanic jobs professional, you’ll guide drivers through a structured 19-point vehicle inspection, document findings clearly, and deliver a professional, customer-focused experience from home.

No prior inspection experience is required, we offer full training for no inspection experience training provided roles. This flexible opportunity supports both part-time and full-time schedules as a flexible remote ASE inspector positions, part-time full-time remote mechanic NC, and statewide North Carolina virtual inspector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Begin inspections on time and complete them in a timely manner
• Conduct vehicle inspections over Zoom video chat
• Confirm driver need for inspection and provide an overview of the process
• Inspect all required points of the 19-point vehicle inspection
• Collect VIN, license plate, registration expiration, and odometer reading
• Communicate effectively with drivers regarding inspection completion and any issues
• Update internal systems based on inspection outcome
• Communicate with coordinators if issues arise

What We’re Looking For:

• Active ASE certification (proof required)
• Business license or association with an existing shop
• Must live in North Carolina
• Own computer, smartphone, and reliable internet and cell service
• Strong customer service skills, ability to multitask with technology, and attention to detail
• No prior inspection experience necessary, training provided

Schedule & Pay:

• Pay starting at $20.00 per hour
• Full-time, part-time, or contract
• Remote position with flexible hours
• Minimum availability of 20 hours per week
