WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Evaluate and examine customer issues based on details outlined in repair order notes.
  • Discuss concerns with customers and team leaders, using inspections, test drives, and input from advisors or clients to pinpoint mechanical problems.
  • Execute all required repairs and tasks listed on repair orders from team leaders, ensuring speed and accuracy.
  • Partner with service and parts departments to address their requirements, offering skilled support and guidance for both customer and dealership vehicles.
  • Actively coordinate with shop colleagues and manufacturers to diagnose and fix any emerging challenges or complications.
  • Maintain precise documentation of all completed services.
  • Stay up-to-date on modern mechanical practices through continuous training and skill enhancement.
  • Provide outstanding service to both dealership staff and customers.
  • Ensure the workspace remains clean and orderly, with all tools and equipment properly cared for and stored.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Secure and keep an active ASE Certification.
  • Hold a high school diploma, GED, or have completed vocational training or relevant coursework.
  • Show a collaborative spirit and a positive, proactive mindset.
  • Supply your own set of repair tools.
  • Demonstrate sharp attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Thrive in a dynamic dealership setting, skillfully handling multiple tasks and deadlines on your own.
  • Accurately read and apply installation guides, diagrams, and technical drawings.
