Responsibilities

• Carry out the tasks specified in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
• Diagnose, service, and repair various automotive systems such as the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Engage in direct communication with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are aware of any additional services required and offer an estimated time for any extra repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician
• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent
• Qualifications: B level, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Skills: Dexterity with a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Abilities: Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, operation of electronic diagnostic equipment
• Customer Service: Excellent skills and basic computer knowledge
• Attitude: Positive and friendly, with a desire to improve
• Environment: Enjoys a dynamic workplace
• Teamwork: Effective collaborator with teammates
• Learning: Capable of acquiring new technology, repair, and service skills
