RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and report the oil level to fellow team members.
• Verify tire pressure for correct inflation.
• Check and top off fluid levels as required.
• Perform a complete vehicle inspection.
• Fit a new oil drain plug and replace the oil filter.
• Clean and grease fittings where necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the service center.
• Address any and all recalls on vehicles.
• Uphold efficiency and precision in both diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Proactively repair or replace worn components to prevent vehicle malfunctions or damage.
• Employ power tools, machine tools, and hand tools to accomplish a variety of tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Quick problem identification skills
• Extensive knowledge of automobiles
• Proficient analytical and communication skills
• Solid reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Capability to learn new technologies, as well as repair and service procedures and specifications
• Comfort with operating electronic diagnostic equipment
• High school diploma or GED; technical degree is a plus
• ASE certifications are advantageous
• At least one year of experience in a service department
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Fundamental computer skills
• A positive and friendly demeanor
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening
