Compensation: $70,000 – $120,000 per year

DK Diesel Performance & Offroad is a busy, growing independent repair facility in Bellingham, Washington, seeking an experienced Automotive / Diesel Technician to join our team. Our clean, well-equipped shop features advanced diagnostic tools and a collaborative team of highly skilled technicians. A $3,500 signing bonus is available for qualified applicants.

We service both diesel and gasoline vehicles, including light- and medium-duty trucks. This position involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing maintenance and repairs, and ensuring vehicles are returned to customers operating safely and reliably. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance concerns on diesel and gas vehicles
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair services using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools
  • Accurately document work performed and parts used on repair orders
  • Review work orders and coordinate repairs with supervisors and service staff
  • Inspect vehicles for safety and maintenance needs
  • Ensure vehicles are returned clean and operating properly
  • Maintain a safe, organized work area

Candidate Will Have

  • Minimum 2 years automotive or diesel technician experience
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment and scan tools
  • Ability to read and follow technical repair procedures
  • Professional work ethic and strong communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Personal set of professional technician tools
