Join the Team at Lakewood Auto Body

Lakewood Auto Body Group LLC has served the South Puget Sound community since 1962, building its reputation on quality collision repairs, professional workmanship, and customer service, and this Auto Body Parts Manager job for collision repair is one of the more important auto body parts manager jobs in Lakewood, Washington. As a locally owned, family operated collision repair facility, we understand the importance of having the right parts available at the right time to keep repairs moving efficiently. We are looking for a detail-oriented automotive parts professional who understands the collision repair process and can work effectively with body technicians and repair planners. The job centers on parts ordering, inventory management, vendor relationships, and parts coordination, sourcing from OEM dealerships and aftermarket suppliers based on estimate requirements, insurer guidelines, and delivery timelines. The manager receives and checks deliveries against the repair order, processes returns promptly and keeps an eye on parts gross profit margins and vendor credits so that every correct return and price adjustment is recovered. Accurate CCC ONE parts invoicing keeps the estimate, the purchase orders, and the books in agreement, so a missing or incorrect part never stalls a vehicle in the middle of a repair.

In real hiring situations, the shop looks for someone with hands-on collision repair parts management experience who can communicate clearly, stay organized under pressure, and anticipate parts needs before disassembly. Body shop parts managers and automotive parts coordinators are a natural fit, though a parts counter professional from a dealership or aftermarket supplier with a solid grasp of the collision process will also get serious consideration. The position draws applicants from Lakewood, Tacoma, University Place, Steilacoom, Parkland, Spanaway, and Puyallup, and it is part of the broader market of the Pacific Northwest and automotive careers across the United States. It can be found alongside other openings on an automotive only job board, where every job seeker is there for an automotive career and every applicant’s information goes directly to the employer’s hiring authority.

This is an important position within our collision repair operation. The Parts Manager plays a direct role in repair accuracy, shop productivity, parts profitability, and completing vehicle repairs on schedule.
