Automotive Technician Positions | Summary: Accountable for diagnosing required vehicle service and executing the repair, service, and maintenance tasks.

Automotive Technician Positions | Supervisory Duties: This position does not entail direct supervisory duties.

Automotive Technician Jobs | Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Inspects customer vehicles.
  • Determines required vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Provides repair cost estimates.
  • Conducts vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Logs services performed.
  • Executes services efficiently, adhering to dealership guidelines.
  • Complies with both dealership and manufacturer service standards.
  • Orders necessary parts.
  • Keeps CSI at or above company standards.
  • Keeps a tidy, safe, and organized work space.
  • Engages in mandatory training.
  • Accurately logs all hours worked in the company’s timekeeping system.
  • Adheres to Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Upholds the Company’s Core Values.
  • Abides by Company policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in performing duties.
  • Performs other assigned tasks.

  •    5+ years

Automotive Technician Jobs | Education/Experience:

Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge. Technical training or commensurate technical experience required.

Certificates and Licenses:

  •    Valid Driver’s License
  • Certified/senior technician with respective manufacturer.
  • State inspection/emissions license required by State.
  • All required manufacturer fundamental training and/or NAPA training provided by HAG.
  • Meets and/or exceeds manufacturer requirements for ASE tests.
  • Completed manufacturer training to perform: warranty repairs/recalls on most vehicles, PDI’s, maintenance, and minor repairs.
