Day-to-day work includes performing repairs specified on repair orders and diagnosing needed services. As a B level diagnostics electrical engine repair or engine transmission electrical technician, you’ll use electronic diagnostic equipment to identify and repair engine, transmission, and electrical concerns in a busy Ford dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers are informed of additional service needs and estimated repair times
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• ASE Certification required
• B-level qualifications in diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
• Steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate as a teammate
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
